Orkun Özkan is one of the partners of the firm. His general practice focuses on capital market, M&A, project finance, retail, sports and personal data protection.

Mr. Orkun Özkan has acted as the legal advisor of Global Menkul Değerler A.Ş. -Turkey’s one of the leading brokerage companies- and Global Yatırım Holding A.Ş. -one of the country’s conglomerates. Subsequently, he provided advice to his clients regarding corporate law, securities law, competition law and energy law matters in top tier law firms.

Currently, he leads the corporate department of the firm and provides legal assistance to its clients in various sectors including M&A, contracts, project finance, capital markets and sports law.

He lectures “New Venture Creation” and “M&A and Private Equity” classes at Bahçeşehir University’s MBA Program since 2016. He also serves at the Board of the Graduate School of Business at Bahçeşehir University.

He has been recognized and announced as the “Capital Markets Lawyer of the Year – Turkey” in Lawyer Monthly Legal Awards 2013.

He is an alumnus of European Young Leaders of Atlantik Brücke e.V (Atlantic Bridge Association), a German-American cooperation and think-tank organization, established in Berlin. 

Besides, being a Boy Scout and Scout Leader for 30 years, he is also serving at the Scouting Volunteers Association and also granted with the “Great Service Merit” by the Turkish Ministry of Youth and Sports, based on voluntary services including search and rescue, first aid, psychological support and child care after the Marmara earthquake in 1999.
