Seren Kutadgu has been advising his international and national clients for more than 10 years, in various sectors such as energy, mining, oil, automotive, health, media & telecoms, food, retail, consumer products, e-commerce, transportation and aviation among others. He is specialized in corporate and commercial law, project finance, energy and infrastructure, competition and he has got a substantial expertise in M&A projects, contracts law and labour law.

He led various M&A projects including the ones in regulated sectors, has a broad experience in project finance transactions and had an active role in company restructurings, joint ventures and procurements.

Seren is engaged in operational processes of the companies mainly in corporate governance procedures, compliance with regulations and energy laws and setting up contractual substructure of start-ups and the companies during their restructuring periods; and also advises his clients with respect to the legal aspects of their daily operation, and on drafting and negotiating various commercial contracts which are required during the course of their business.

During his career, the following clients are amongst the notable clients he advised in daily corporate procedures and in M&A projects: Ansaldo Energia, E.ON, Recordati S.p.A., Koc Holding, Credit Agricole, Mutlu Holding, Aéroports De Paris, Merck Group, Coca Cola İçecek A.Ş., PPG Industries, Yapı Kredi Bank.

Seren has an LL.M degree from Queen Mary University of London where he practiced different areas of Corporate and Commercial Law. In his masters, he wrote a thesis on “Risks and Material Contractual Issues in Public Private Partnerships” through which he has gained expertise on material risk factors in PPP Projects and contract management, material contractual issues and proper design of PPP and concession agreements.
