Karol Lasocki, an attorney-at-law, heads the Renewable Energy Department at DWF Poland. His expertise focuses on renewable energy sources, onshore as well as offshore wind and solar PV.

Karol is engaged in the activities of associations and parliamentary groups related to renewable energy sources on a daily basis. He was an expert of the Parliamentary Offshore Wind Energy Group and - for many years - continues to serve as a member of the Steering Committee of the Polish Wind Energy Association.  Likewise, he participates in the works of the Polish Photovoltaics Association and is the co-author of their PV auction guide. Karol was involved in drafting and negotiating the first virtual corporate PPAs in Poland and many virtual and physical PPAs since then.

He has been regularly recognised by independent, international rankings. The Legal 500 has named Karol in its Hall of Fame, while IFLR1000 has recognised him as Highly Regarded in Project development in energy sector and Chambers Europe ranked him in Band 2 for Energy & Natural Resources.
