Maciej Jamka, Senior Partner, is an advocate practicing in all areas of Polish and international law, with particular emphasis on arbitration and litigation. He is the head of the litigation and arbitration practice of DWF Poland and co-head of the dispute resolution practice in continental Europe. He has represented clients in some of the largest litigation cases in Poland. He has acted for the Republic of Poland in several investment arbitration proceedings (BIT) and major international companies in respect of investment disputes.

He has counselled clients in arbitration proceedings based on the rules of major international institutes, such as the ICC, SCC, VIAC and UNCITRAL. A significant portion of Maciej Jamka's practice relates to construction disputes. He has authored a number of pieces on construction law and implementation of FIDIC conditions. He has advised clients in diverse industries, including large mergers and acquisitions. Maciej has also advised major Polish companies on energy investment projects, including work on several gas-fired power plants for the country's leading oil and gas company.

Maciej is often appointed as an arbitrator in both local and international commercial disputes. From 2012–2018 he was the President of the Polish National Committee of ICC. From July 2021 Maciej is a member of the ICC International Court of Arbitration (2021-2024 mandate) which involves working to uphold the reputation of the world’s leading arbitral institution by ensuring the quality and enforceability of ICC Awards.

He has been regularly recommended by Chambers and Partners and The Legal 500. In 2023 he has been recognized in Band 1 for Dispute Resolution: Arbitration. He has been ranked as Global Leader in Arbitration by Who's Who Legal and Global Arbitration Review in WWL: Arbitration 2023 guide.
