Prior to joining DWF, Richard was the head of the banking practice area of Hogan Lovells Paris for 20 years. He has considerable experience in banking and finance generally, and advises banks, financial institutions, funds and companies in and from France for the development of their activities, including on regulatory aspects. He notably assists clients on the drafting and negotiation of simple or complex credit agreements and security packages, and on debt restructurings in the context of  pre-insolvency and insolvency proceedings. His main areas of expertises are acquisition finance, project finance (renewable energy and infrastructure), asset finance (aviation) and factoring.
