Robert is one of Queensland’s leading personal injury lawyers. Robert has been an accredited personal injury law specialist since 1998, and has over 30 years' experience in practice acting for an array of insurance clients in personal injury claims, including Compulsory Third Party (CTP) insurers, WorkCover Queensland (WCQ), Self-Insurers within the WorkCover scheme (including Local Government Association (LGA)) and public liability insurers. He is regularly recognised for his expertise in these areas, including most recently by Doyle's Guide in 2018 and 2019 as a leading Workers' Compensation and WorkCover Lawyer.

Robert has a track record in the cost effective and appropriate resolution of personal injury claims, bolstered by his ability to front settlement conferences and mediations and draw pleadings without input from Counsel, creating savings on outlays. He has a comprehensive applied understanding of model litigant principles, for example, upon ascertaining an injured worker received less than appropriate lump sum compensation under the workers’ compensation statutory scheme for loss of an eye, instructions were secured from WCQ to alert the solicitors acting for the injured worker to ensure he received his proper lump sum.
