Principal Lawyer

Kim is a corporate lawyer who brings almost 20 years of experience and expertise in the areas of corporate and commercial law.

Kim assists businesses of all sizes, from start-ups through to some of Australia’s largest private businesses and family offices. Her clients come from a diverse range of sectors, such as financial services, health, energy and resources, and property and real estate. She helps her clients to achieve their corporate objectives in every stage of their life cycle, from start-up, through growth, and up to exit.

Throughout her career, Kim has developed a particular expertise in capital raisings (including IPOs), M&As and joint ventures arrangements. Her expertise also includes the following:

advising clients on the optimal initial structure of their business; assisting clients with the growth of their business, via debt or equity finance, strategic mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures or restructures; providing general commercial advice (including formalising and negotiating arrangements with employees, suppliers and customers); and assisting clients with the succession of their business, whether by exit via trade sale – asset or share sale, management buy-out, IPO, joint venture or another liquidity event or by intergenerational wealth transfer through wills and estate planning.

When she's not in the office, Kim enjoys spending time with her family and travelling. She is also passionate about CSR and giving back to the community, having previously been the National Project Officer at the National Children’s and Youth Law Centre, providing legal advice and services to children across Australia.
