Career

Scott began his career in Queensland, but has become one of the most respected and well regarded planning and environment lawyers in Victoria and now heads our Australian team. He has high level expertise across a broad range of planning and environment work with a particular focus on acting for developers.

He establishes and maintains strong relationships by providing his Victorian and national based clients with advice in all aspects of planning and environment law, including planning and development approvals, environmental advice and due diligence, environmental audits, compulsory acquisitions, liquor licensing, gaming and heritage law. Relationship driven, Scott works closely with clients from conception to completion to ensure project success.

Scott has advised in development projects including shopping centres, office towers, cinema, resorts, restaurants, power stations, alternative energy, transport and logistics, infrastructure, sporting and entertainment complexes, subdivisions, student housing, higher density housing and industrial premises. Scott’s clients and project history include some of the most respected brands, and iconic developments in the industry.

Accredited under the Law Institute of Victoria's Specialisation Scheme, Scott has been an accredited planning & environmental law specialist for over 15 years.
