Career

Mark has over 20 years’ experience as a lawyer practising employment law, and holds a Masters in Law focussing on employment law, safety law and discrimination. He acts for employers of all sizes, from SMEs and NFPs, through to multi-national companies, and he also acts for senior executives. Mark has significant experience implementing enterprise agreements for multinational companies with respect to their Australian operations. He also regularly provides advice to clients regarding mergers of employment entities at a national level.

Mark’s areas of particular expertise include:

Effecting change in workplaces through restructures, mergers, acquisitions and termination of employment generally. Implementing enterprise agreements, employment contracts and consultancy contracts. Advising on employee misconduct, performance management, management of ill and injured workers and employee entitlements. Defending unfair dismissal claims, general protections and discrimination applications, breach of contract proceedings, workplace health and safety prosecutions and prosecutions for non-compliance with the Fair Work Act 2009.
