Pelinsu Demircan

Pelinsu Demircan focuses on banking and finance and capital markets matters. She advises clients in relation to project financing, syndicated financing and restructuring, as well as IPO processes and debt capital markets transactions.

Sait Eryılmaz heads the finance practice of our Istanbul office. He is specialised in banking and finance transactions, with a particular focus on project finance, syndicated lending, restructurings and structured finance. Sait has held a key position at the forefront of Turkish infrastructure and energy transactions in the last decade, taking part in many notable projects including PPPs and other large-scale cross-border transactions. He regularly represents banks, ECAs, Islamic and conventional financial institutions, sovereigns, corporates and private equity firms in a wide array of international project finance transactions, including in PPPs, infrastructure, transportation (roads, ports, railways and airports) energy, oil and gas, utilities and privatisations in Turkey and the wider EMEA region. Sait has extensive banking and finance experience with a particular focus on syndicated lending, project finance, acquisition finance, corporate finance, restructuring, Islamic finance, securitisations and structured finance. Sait also frequently acts for issuers and underwriters in both debt and equity offerings including Eurobond, sukuk, covered bond, green bond and regulatory bank capital offerings in and outside Turkey. Sait has also worked in the Firm's London office.

Deniz Göcük specialises in M&A, general corporate and commercial law/contracts along with litigation. She advises both international and domestic companies, private equity firms, financial institutions, corporates on sell-side and buy-side M&A transactions, joint ventures, restructurings and various other corporate matters. Deniz also advises companies on all aspects of employment law, data protection and intellectual property law. Itır Sevim-Çiftçi

Itır Çiftçi heads the Corporate/M&A practice in Istanbul. She is specialised in mergers & acquisitions and restructurings and has excellent knowledge of the Turkish market and its key players. During her practice of over 30 years, she has advised key strategic and financial investors in numerous landmark transactions, various investments and major privatisation transactions. Itır has vast experience on structured equity investments, joint ventures and private equity funds mainly in the following sectors: infrastructure and energy, consumer goods and retail, financial services, food and beverage, healthcare, life sciences and chemicals, industrials and private equity.

Gökçe Uzun specialises in banking and finance, including syndications, project financings, export credit financings, securitisations and other structured financings. Deniz Yetkin focuses on corporate/M&A and general corporate advisory matters. Deniz has worked in M&As, and equity investments in energy, pharmaceutical, mining and FMCG. She also focuses on white collar crimes and employment law.
