Alexander IJkelenstam is a lawyer in our Real Estate Practice Area Group and our Energy & Climate Change Group. He specialises in planning law and environmental law. He advises throughout the (pre-) application process and manages planning and environmental risks in transactions and (renewable) energy projects. Alexander also handles general administrative law cases, for example regarding administrative enforcement decisions and access to public information.​​

​Alexander advises investors, retailers, project developers and public authorities.​​

​He studied at the Amsterdam University. During his study and later on, he was a member of the city district council of Amsterdam-West for six years.
