Career

Adriana Escobar is a Partner and Head of the Labor & Pensions practice. She has over 20 years of experience advising national and multinational clients on labor law, comprehensive social security and immigration matters.

Her practice focuses on complex labor and social security advisory, including support in due diligence processes and the management of legal and operational workforce-related matters. She has also played a key role in labor negotiations for major clients and has led studies on public policy related to the Colombian pension system.

Adriana has significant experience advising individuals on social security and pension planning, as well as representing clients in labor litigation, both in Colombia and internationally.

She holds a specialisation in Labor Law and Social Security from Pontificia Universidad Javeriana. She is a founding member of CEDEP (Center for Procedural Law Studies), where she leads the Labor Law chapter, and is actively involved in academic initiatives.

In 2023 and 2025, she participated as a speaker at the Latin American International Employment Summit in São Paulo, contributing to panels on Diversity & Inclusion and Disputes and Conflict Resolution for companies.

She is a member of the CMS Latin America Diversity & Inclusion committee, acting as a guidelines and policy representative, and also serves on the D&I Committee of CMS Colombia.
