Daniela Vergel is a Partner and Head of the Environmental Law & Sustainability practice. She also co-heads the Dispute Resolution practice and the Energy & Climate Change team for the mining sector.

She has over 16 years of experience advising on mining law and dispute resolution, with a strong focus on the environmental and regulatory aspects of mining projects. Her practice covers the full lifecycle of mining operations, including project structuring, acquisition of mining titles, domestic and cross-border mineral transactions, regulatory proceedings before mining authorities, and the contracting of goods and services for mining projects.

Daniela has extensive experience representing clients in complex litigation and arbitration, as well as in environmental and mining-related sanctioning proceedings.

She serves as arbitrator and secretary at the Arbitration and Conciliation Centers of the Bogotá Chamber of Commerce and the Superintendence of Corporations.
