Career

Henry Sanabria is a Partner and co-head of the Dispute Resolution practice. He has over 25 years of experience advising national and international clients in complex litigation before civil and administrative courts, as well as in arbitration proceedings involving disputes arising from contractual relationships between private parties and state entities.

His practice is particularly focused on high-stakes disputes, combining strong procedural expertise with strategic advisory in contentious matters.

Henry holds a law degree from Universidad Externado de Colombia, where he also obtained a specialisation in Civil Procedural Law and a master’s degree in Civil Liability. He is currently a tenured professor of General Civil Procedural Law.

He has played a significant role in the development of procedural law in Colombia, having been a member of the Advisory and Review Commission for the General Procedural Code, created by the National Government. He is also a member of the Colombian Institute of Procedural Law.

Henry is listed as an arbitrator and secretary at the Arbitration and Conciliation Center of the Bogotá Chamber of Commerce and is the author of several publications, including General Civil Procedural Law (2021), Nullities in the Civil Process (2005), and Procedural Configuration of the Tutela Action (2000).
