Spencer Romoff Joins Rivkin Radler’s Expanding Real Estate Group

UNIONDALE, NY –– Barry Levy, Managing Partner of Rivkin Radler, announced that Spencer Romoff has joined the firm’s Corporate, Real Estate, and Tax practice groups in its New York City office, bringing 20 years of in-house real estate transactional experience.Spencer Romoff advises owners, developers, and investors on complex real estate transactions, including development, financing, acquisitions and dispositions, leasing, and other transactional matters. His practice includes joint venture formations and agreements; debt and equity financing, including construction financing, bridge loans, permanent financing, and other term debt; acquisitions and dispositions; real estate development and construction; adaptive reuse and rehabilitation; leasing; distressed debt restructuring and note purchases; development-related agreements; and tax-sensitive ownership and investment structures.In 2020, Romoff co-founded a New York City real estate investment and development business and served as its managing partner. In that role, he led transactional and operational matters, including strategic partner arrangements, financing, acquisitions and dispositions, development, and asset management. With over 10 years of experience as a commercial lending attorney, Moskowitz represents numerous banks, lending institutions, and SBA lenders in negotiating, structuring, and closing all forms of commercial loan transactions. She earned her J.D. from Maurice A. Deane School of Law at Hofstra University.Rachel Propis has joined the Surety and Construction practice groups in the firm’s Uniondale office. Propis gained experience serving as an assistant district attorney in Bronx County where she managed her own caseload, made strategic case decisions, and regularly appeared in court. She earned her J.D. from The George Washington University Law School.Christopher Spinosa has joined the Insurance Coverage practice group in the firm’s Uniondale office. Spinosa gained experience as a senior court attorney with the New York State Court of Appeals. He earned his J.D. from Touro University Jacob D.
