Marcelo has more than 20 years’ experience in banking, finance and capital markets. He also specializes in project finance, securitization, debt restructuring and derivatives and has also extensive experience advising on foreign exchange regulations in Argentina.

He has a strong track record in banking and capital markets’ transactions, which have positioned him as one of the leading lawyers in his practice area.

Before joining TRSM, he was a partner at Bruchou, Fernández Madero & Lombardi (2000-2011), partner at Bazán, Cambré & Orts (2011-2014) and a foreign associate at Simpson, Thacher & Bartlett, New York in 2002-2003.

Since 2009, he has been annually ranked by Chambers & Partners and Legal 500 as a key player in the Argentine legal market. He was also recognized by Apertura Review in 2008 and 2009 as one of the country's most distinguished lawyers under 40.

He graduated as a lawyer (with honors) at the Universidad de Buenos Aires in 1995 and holds an LL.M. in Banking and Finance by Queen Mary, University of London, 1998.
