Marcelo has more than 20 years’ experience in banking, finance and capital markets. He also specializes in project finance, securitisation, debt restructuring and derivatives and has also extensive experience advising on foreign exchange regulations in Argentina.

He has a strong track record in banking and capital markets transactions, which have positioned him as one of the leading lawyers in his practice area.

He has been recognised by Chambers and Partners, The Legal 500 and other legal publications as a highly recognised specialist in banking and finance law.

Before joining TRSM, he was a partner at other law firms in Buenos Aires and a foreign associate at Simpson, Thacher & Bartlett, New York.

He graduated as a lawyer (with honors) from the University of Buenos Aires (1995) and holds an LLM in banking and finance from Queen Mary, University of London (1998).
