Federico M. Otero - Corporate and M&A

Federico has more than 20 years’ experience advising international and domestic leading companies in corporate law and mergers and acquisitions matters. He has participated in many complex negotiations providing advice to local and foreign investors involving cross-border and domestic acquisitions, mergers, divestitures, joint ventures and strategic alliances.

As part of his general corporate practice, he regularly advises domestic and multinational companies on day-to-day matters, including commercial contracts, shareholders agreements, corporate planning and reorganizations and financing transactions.

He has been recognised by Chambers Latin America and other legal publications as a leading specialist in his practice area.

Before joining TRSM, Federico was a senior associate at Bruchou, Fernández Madero & Lombardi, a foreign associate at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP, New York and at Cescon Barrieu Advogados, São Paulo.

He graduated as a lawyer (with honors) at the University of Buenos Aires and also completed a postgraduate course in finance at the Argentine Catholic University.
