Hans has a strong background in banking law and regulations, and handles a variety of financial, capital markets and corporate governance matters. Hans frequently acts as trusted advisor to boards and board committees, shareholders and individual directors on critical corporate governance issues and shareholder disputes.

Hans graduated as attorney at law from Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México (ITAM); he has a Master of Laws with honors from Northwestern University of Chicago.

He worked as foreign associate of Mayer Brown LLP (Chicago), and he has been a Professor on Financial Contracts at Universidad Iberoamericana and on the Nader Hayaux Goebel Class at the Panamerican University.
