With more than 17 years of experience, Vitor has worked in top-tier law firms and companies in Brazil and abroad.

In the area of Competition and Antitrust, Vitor has extensive experience in submitting transactions before CADE, including cases involving negotiation of agreements. He also represents Brazilian and foreign clients in competition investigations and administrative proceedings and routinely provides consultancy on antitrust and anti-competitive practices issues.

In the area of Corporate Governance and Compliance, Vitor has extensive experience in conducting internal investigations, representing clients before Brazilian authorities (e.g. the CADE, the CGU, the MPF and the Federal Police) and foreign authorities (e.g. the DOJ and the SEC). In addition, he has constantly assisted companies to implement and improve their governance and compliance programs, assessed integrity risks, provided training, developed integrity policies, obtained certifications and carried out due diligence procedures in connection with M&A deals and commercial partnerships.

Vitor is the co-leader of the Competition Law practice in the Latin America and Caribbean region — as part of the strategic alliance between VPBG and Dentons — and his role will be key to driving the growth and development of the practice in the Brazilian market and across the region.
