Julio Martínez is a partner in the Banking &  Finance, Insolvency & Restructuring and Real Estate practices at Mitrani Caballero. He specializes in international and domestic financial transactions, including capital markets, securitizations, and project finance, and is highly regarded for his expertise in financial regulations and privacy laws.

Julio regularly advises foreign investors on M&A and general corporate matters, and has substantial experience with oil and gas and mining companies, including advising lenders to mining projects.

Before joining Mitrani Caballero, Julio was a partner (2001–2007) and associate (1996–1998, 2000–2001) at Estudio Beccar Varela, and a foreign associate at Allen & Overy in New York (1999–2000). He is consistently recognized as a leading lawyer in Banking & Finance and M&A by Chambers & Partners and Chambers Latin America.
