Payton represents financial institutions and investment firms in a variety of equipment finance transactions, including direct loans, leases, credit facilities, and purchase and sale transactions for rail, aircraft, and general equipment assets.

Prior to joining the firm, Payton was an M&A Tax Senior Associate with PricewaterhouseCoopers in Chicago, Illinois and he brings his business and tax experience to his legal practice.

While in law school, Payton served as the Senior Managing Editor for the Indiana Journal of Global Legal Studies.
