Career
With 15 years of professional experience, he has focused his legal practice in competition law, regulated industries, fintech, data protection, and technology, accompanying and representing national and foreign companies and organizations in preventive, administrative, and judicial procedures with different levels of complexity. He has extensive experience and expertise in addressing processes related to these legal areas before the National Economic Prosecutor's Office, the Antidistortion Commission, the National Customs Service, the Public Health Institute, and port authorities, as well as in litigation before the Competition Defense Tribunal, the Supreme Court, and Arbitration Tribunals.
Mr. Gárate has over 10 years of experience as a professor of economic and regulatory law at recognized universities in Chile: Additionally, he is an opinion referee for media on regulation, economic law, and fintech issues.
