Graduated from UFRGS and is a Specialist in Economics and Company Law from FGV, Pedro has almost 25 years of experience in corporate and business law, including acting as a member of the boards of companies in a number of economic sectors. His activities include permanent advisor to companies of different sizes, restructuring and reorganization of businesses in a financial crisis, purchase and sale of companies, joint ventures, private equity, shareholder disputes, estate planning and advising publicly-held companies, including before the Brazilian Securities Commission (CVM).

Pedro was president of the Instituto de Estudos Empresarias – IEE and a member of its Decision-Making Board, as well as member of the Academic Council of Instituto Liberdade. He is also a member of the Instituto Brasileiro de Governança Corporativa – IBGC since 2005.

Pedro has been repeatedly recognized as a reference professional in his practice area by publications such as Chambers & Partners, Legal 500, Leaders League, IFLR1000 and Análise Advocacia.
