Fernando has over a decade of experience in the strategic management of Intellectual Property across various industries. His practice specializes in the registration and protection of trademarks, copyrights, patents and regulatory affairs, as well as civil and criminal litigation related to Intellectual Property.

Throughout his career, he has successfully led complex litigation cases, coordinated in-depth investigations, and negotiated key agreements to safeguard his clients’ interests. His expertise spans the comprehensive management of industrial property registrations (trademarks, patents, and designs) and the strategic administration of intellectual property portfolios.

His commitment to excellence has earned him recognition from prestigious publications and international rankings such as Legal 500 and World Trademark Review. Among his most notable achievements is the seizure of over one million counterfeit product units in a single year, underscoring his dedication to combating piracy and protecting intellectual property rights.

In addition to his legal practice, Fernando has designed and conducted multiple training sessions and workshops for judges, magistrates, customs officials, and public prosecutors, as well as consumer awareness programs, aimed at strengthening the detection and prevention of counterfeit products. His efforts have significantly contributed to raising awareness and knowledge of Intellectual Property protection in the country.
