Position
Jaleyna de la Peña Molina is a Partner at the firm and leads key aspects of the family law, real estate, and private client practice in the Baja California office. With 17 years of experience, she has built a distinguished career advising clients on family wealth planning, family‑owned business structures, probate matters, and real estate issues. She joined the firm as an associate 17 years ago and has since developed into one of its senior practitioners.
Jaleyna’s practice focuses on guiding families and individuals through complex personal, financial, and cross‑border matters. She is recognized for her ability to design comprehensive legal strategies that align long‑term family governance, asset protection, and succession planning objectives. Her experience also includes counseling family businesses on structural and operational matters, often involving multi‑jurisdictional elements.
In addition to her legal practice, Jaleyna have part of her time to social and humanitarian causes, including collaborations with organizations such as UNICEF, reflecting her commitment to community impact and social development. She is currently Chair of the Anticorruption Committee on Mexico National Employers Association (COPARMEX).
Career
Jaleyna de la Peña Molina earned her Law Degree from the Autonomous University of Baja California, where she also completed a Specialization and a Master’s Degree in Civil Law. She further pursued postgraduate studies in Family Law at the University of Buenos Aires and obtained a Master’s Degree in Business Law from Universidad Anáhuac. She is currently pursuing a Doctorate in Law at the Carbonell Center for Legal Studies.

Jaleyna is a member of the National Association of Corporate Counsel (ANADE) and the Early Childhood Network of the Mexican Business Coordinating Council (CCE). She has held several leadership positions within COPARMEX, including Chair of the Legal Committee and Human Rights Counselor, and currently serves as Chair of COPARMEX’s National Integrity and Anti-Corruption Commission. She also serves as Vice Chair of the Integrity and Anti-Corruption Committee of Business at OECD (BIAC), the business advisory body to the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD).
