Jonathan specialises in M&A transactions, private equity deal structuring, corporate real estate transactions and investment fund matters.

He has been the Managing Partner of the Jersey office since 2014 and is also a member of our Global Investment Funds and Corporate Groups.

He has more than 20 years' experience as a lawyer, and he is recognised in Legal 500's Hall of Fame and as a recognised practitioner in Chambers & Partner. Commercial and sensible, he focuses on achieving client goals with the minimum of fuss.

He is admitted in England and Wales (non-practicing), Jersey and the BVI.

Before joining Walkers in 2005, Jonathan spent five years in London at two international firms. There he gained experience in corporate and commercial law, with an emphasis on cross-border and multi-jurisdictional transactions.

Jonathan subsequently spent two years in the BVI specialising in international and structured finance, joint ventures, private equity and investment funds.

Jonathan relocated to Jersey in 2007.

Jonathan speaks French and German.
