Senior Counsel

John McSweeney joined Walkers in 2022 where he is a Senior Counsel in the Insolvency and Dispute Resolution Group in the Bermuda office. John advises clients across a wide range of industry sectors on complex and high value litigation, with a focus on commercial disputes, insolvency and restructuring and contentious trust matters. He has extensive litigation experience, including in enforcement actions, applications for injunctive relief and shareholder disputes. John also regularly advises on contentious insolvency matters, including disputed winding up petitions and costs related issues.
