Career

Samuel is a Shareholder in the firm's corporate law practice. Samuel advises corporates, financial institutions and private capital players on virtually all aspects of M&A and corporate law, with a special focus on public M&A and ECM transactions. He also advises on corporate governance, stock listing rules and ESG. Samuel has over a decade of experience on the full range of corporate transactions, including domestic and international mergers, acquisitions and disposals, public offers, controlled auctions, cross-border mergers, dual track processes, IPOs, private placements, accelerated bookbuild offerings, rights issues and SPAC transactions.

In addition, Samuel is an Assistant Professor at Erasmus School of Law and publishes articles and books on various subjects related to his work. He is a member of the team of permanent contributors of a Dutch corporate law journal (Tijdschrift Ondernemingsrecht) and editorial board member of another corporate law journal (Maandblad voor Ondernemingsrecht). In 2020, he completed a Ph.D. by publishing his book on The Listed Company, Corporate Governance and Strategy.
