Career
Oscar López Velarde joined the firm as partner in 2017. He advises companies operating in Mexico and Latin America, focusing on capital structuring and project financing in the real estate, financial, energy, oil and gas, and infrastructure sectors. His practice includes the structuring of private equity funds, mergers and acquisitions, structure financing projects, the design of new financial products, and capital markets transactions.
In addition, Oscar represents taxpayers in disputes with tax authorities, including audits, mediation, arbitration, and litigation, developing strategic solutions that integrate legal and financial perspectives.
