Asaf Jiménez joined the firm in 2000, and was named partner in 2018. He is actively involved in financing transactions with a particular focus on projects in the power sector and other infrastructure industries, representing developers, investors, and financial institutions. His projects practice includes transactions involving federal and local public-private partnerships, public works, and other government contracting schemes. In mergers and acquisitions, his experience focuses on transactions in the aforementioned sectors.

He also has extensive experience in financings involving federal, state, and municipal governments, advising debtors, creditors, and credit rating agencies.

Asaf gained international experience as a foreign associate in the Projects and Energy group at Clifford Chance in Washington, D.C.
