Career

Meghan Walsh is a tax partner with extensive experience in transactional matters for both corporations and pass-through entities.  Ms. Walsh’s practice includes taxable and tax-free mergers and acquisitions, capital markets transactions, and lending and financing transactions, as well as partnerships, joint ventures and fund formations.  Ms. Walsh also advises clients with respect to equity compensation in corporate and pass-through structures.  Ms. Walsh also has experience with federal and state tax matters and controversies.  Ms. Walsh advises clients across industries, including technology, life sciences, financial services, and private equity.

Ms. Walsh’s practice also includes advising tax-exempt organizations, including with respect to obtaining and maintaining tax-exempt status.

Professional Activities

Ms. Walsh is a member of the American Bar Association and the Boston Bar Association.  Ms. Walsh currently serves on the board of trustees of the Massachusetts Taxpayers Foundation.
