Sophie is Head of the London Employment Team and is joint head of the Financial Institutions employment group within Eversheds Sutherland.

Sophie is very experienced in advising clients on the people aspects of SMCR. She also regularly advises on and undertakes sensitive C suite investigations.

Sophie advises on complex global and cross border mandates and sensitive contentious and non-contentious employment matters. She has a particular interest in diversity and other people related sustainability issues, which is an area she advises extensively on.

Sophie is extremely proficient in dealing with large scale TUPE/automatic transfer issues arising out of global outsourcing, corporate, insolvency and real estate transactions. She also has significant experience of dealing with corporate governance, compliance and regulatory issues including the employment aspects of an IPO, financial services remuneration codes, CEO pay ratio reporting and employee voice obligations. She is skilled in handling employment issues in the context of board restructures.

Sophie has a loyal client base because she works hard to understand their culture and approach and to proactively anticipate their needs.
