Deepesh Upadhyay is a Partner in, and Co-Head of, the UK Tax Group of Eversheds Sutherland. He is based in the firm’s London office.

Deepesh’s practice spans the private capital markets and the financial services sector. His practice covers the full scope of tax advisory and transactional issues relevant to domestic and international finance and fund mandates, including the structuring of financial products, debt funds, debt capital market transactions and debt restructurings, covering a wide range of underlying asset classes such as private credit, real estate, infrastructure and energy.

As a sector authority, Deepesh participates in HMRC consultations and joins working parties to help shape changes in laws affecting the sector. He has contributed to tax textbooks and has written articles, commentaries and practice notes for major publications.
