Åsa is a Senior Associate at our Stockholm office, specializing in construction & engineering and commercial contracts. Åsas main focus is advising clients on both national and international construction and engineering projects. She is adept at drafting, negotiating and executing commercial contracts and frequently provides her knowledge throughout the construction process and beyond their completion.

Drawing from her former role as an in-house legal counsel for one of Sweden’s largest EPC/installation companies, Åsa brings extensive business sector experience, which allows her to skillfully assist projects from procurement to completion. Åsa consistently delivers her legal advice with a strong focus on her client’s commercial perspective and she believes in strategic counseling tailored to each client.

She has deep knowledge of various contract types, including soft and hard FM contracts, turnkey contracts, EPC/EPCM contracts, consultancy/engineering contracts, and supplier and subcontractor agreements. She has served as a strategic advisor to municipalities, publicly listed companies, privately owned companies of all sizes, real estate companies, subcontractors, state enterprises and municipally owned companies.

She has extensive experience in consultancy law and related issues, including projects incorporating new design and technology. Her involvement in the “green industrial revolution” in northern Sweden is particularly noteworthy.

In construction disputes, Åsa’s counsel is highly regarded, and she has represented clients in court proceedings within her areas of expertise. Beyond her work in construction and engineering, she handles procurement issues and various commercial agreements. Åsa is also a respected lecturer on construction law, consultancy law, and related topics.

Åsa holds an LL.M. from Stockholm University, complemented by a degree from Ghent University in Belgium, focusing on international and European law. Åsa Fält has been practicing law since 2013 and joined Eversheds Sutherland in 2025.
