Tanya is a partner in our commercial group and specialises in corporate and commercial law bringing her own unique brand of practising law with a personal touch. She offers a diverse cross section of services in many aspects of law. Her main areas of expertise comprise mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, BEE transactions, cross border transactions, corporate structuring and restructuring, securitisations, conducting legal due diligences and advising on regulatory compliance.

Furthermore, she has a formidable track record in advising listed companies, large corporates, multinationals, financial institutions, and entrepreneurs on, private equity funding, banking law, stock exchange law, aviation law, pharmaceutical law, insurance law and exchange control law both locally and internationally.

Tanya has handled numerous listings and delisting’s and has been involved in a number of complex high value business transactions. She has also had significant experience in mining, energy and natural resources transactions, distressed company transactions and credit transactions.
