Ian is a Consultant in the Corporate and Commercial department in the Durban, KZN office. He is a Namibian qualified lawyer with over 13 years of experience in the African and European jurisdictions.

He has significant merger and acquisition experience in the technology, retail, real estate and mining space. The work undertaken also includes competition law advice and prosecuting merger filings on behalf of clients within SADC countries.

We advised RCL FOODS Limited on the formation of the Livekindly Collective Africa, a joint venture based in South Africa between RCL FOODS and US-based The Livekindly Company Inc. The joint venture involves the marketing, sale and distribution of plant-based alternative food products in South Africa and the rest of sub-Saharan Africa.
