João Robles joined FCB in 2002 and became a Partner in 2015, where he coordinates the Angola Desk.

Developing his professional career in the Corporate, Commercial and M&A Department, he has also a vast experience in the Real Estate sector, for Portugal and Angola’s jurisdictions. During the last 10 years, João has been deeply involved in the Oil & Gas sector, not just in assisting oil operators but also providing legal counsel to the service providers in the oil industry, especially in the Angolan jurisdiction.

As responsible for the Angola Desk, João has an in-depth knowledge in practice areas that include commercial and M&A, Real Estate and Construction in that country, which has led to his recognition and recommendation in several international legal directories.
