Maciej Jóźwiak is partner heading the dispute resolution team at Eversheds Sutherland Poland.  

He specializes in representing clients in judicial proceedings. He also handles arbitration proceedings and other forms of alternative dispute resolution. Maciej has over 10 years’ experience providing legal advice to businesses. He supports clients with risk management for potential disputes and dispute management for ongoing matters. He represents clients in litigation, arbitration and mediation, in both commercial and criminal proceedings. He works for leading companies operating in the FMCG, energy and banking sectors. He has advised in well-known court disputes concerning shelving fees and currency options. He has represented clients in arbitration at the ICC International Court of Arbitration as well the Court of Arbitration at the Polish Chamber of Commerce.

Maciej is an arbitrator at the Court of Arbitration at Polish Confederation Lewiatan and a member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators in London. He is also a board member of the ADR Committee at ICC Poland, where he leads the work of the Corporate Counsel Advisory Board.

He is a graduate of the Faculty of Law and Administration at the University of Warsaw and a member of the Warsaw Bar.
