Ingrīda is a lawyer dealing with a range of commercial law matters, although often involved in the work of other practice groups as well.  Ingrīda’s work includes drafting various commercial agreements and litigation documents, as well as providing legal advice on a range of civil and administrative law matters.

In view of Ingrīda’s previous work experience in the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Regional Development of the Republic of Latvia, she provides a lot of assistance to the Public and Administrative Law practice group, such as with matters relating to waste management, pollution, spatial planning and administrative processes in general.

As Ingrīda has gained considerable litigation experience by representing the Ministry before administrative courts, she also offers valuable legal support to the Litigation and Dispute Management practice group.

While pursuing her master’s degree, Ingrīda and the rest of the team successfully represented the University of Latvia in the Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot, also earning an Individual Honourable Mention for Best Speaker.

Recent experience

Providing legal assistance to an Estonian real estate developer in a multimillion deed with regard to the sale and purchase of land and a building under construction, the establishment of servitudes and lease of the property. Drafting several multimillion litigation documents including a case concerning the interests of insolvent stock company Latvijas Krājbanka against one of the “Big Four” audit firms in relation to professional negligence of auditors and failure to comply with their duties. Advising clients on various residential tenancy issues.
