Before establishing Dvořák Hager & Partners (predecessor of Eversheds Sutherland Czech Republic & Slovakia), Stanislav Dvořák worked as a lawyer for Arthur Andersen and, later, as an attorney for Weinhold Legal, Arthur Andersen and subsequently Ernst & Young legal arm in the Czech Republic. He has been advising a number of major Czech and multinational corporations. He focuses on corporate law, M&A, capital markets, litigation and insolvency. Stanislav Dvořák has significant experience in the representation of clients in administrative court proceedings, primarily in tax matters. Stanislav Dvořák frequently lectures, e.g. for the Union of Legal Counsels, and contributes to professional legal publications. His book, entitled “Merger Control”, was published in 2002.

Stanislav Dvořák graduated from the Faculty of Law at Charles University in Prague where he later pursued postgraduate studies (PhD.). He also studied at the Thames Valley University in London and at Hamburg University in Germany (LL.M.).
