Legal Director

Sebastian Borer is a legal director at Eversheds Sutherland focused on corporate law, M&A as well as distribution agreements and franchising.

Sebastian always aims to support his clients efficiently and with a pragmatic approach in all matters of corporate law. His clients range from founders and start-ups wanting to implement their business ideas and seeking advice regarding incorporation, regulatory framework and commercial agreements to international corporations aiming to expand or restructure their business.

He is experienced in the field of international M&A and advises on all types of corporate transactions. He supports his clients in all matters relating to M&A, including due diligence and drafting and negotiating of the relevant transaction documentation.

Sebastian is also assisting founders and investors in start-up projects and joint ventures in industries ranging from video-production to the production and distribution of CBD-products. Furthermore, Sebastian regularly holds internal trainings on subjects such as commercial agreements, corporate governance and compliance for his clients.

He graduated as Master of Laws (LL.M.) from the Vienna University of Business and Economics in 2016. In 2020, he passed the Austrian Bar exam with Distinction. Since 2022, he is a Certified Compliance Officer focused on Anti Money Laundering.

Sebastian joined Eversheds Sutherland in October 2022.
