Career
His professional practice focuses on legal advisory to companies with mining, energy and infrastructure projects related to protected natural areas, water resources and obtaining licenses, authorizations and environmental permits from various State agencies. He has extensive experience in legal defense and sponsorship of companies in the mining-energy sector in administrative sanctioning procedures in environmental matters from various State agencies. He joined the firm as an Associate in 2011. Prior to that, he worked at Grau Law Firm (2010 – 2011) and at Ferrero Law Firm (2008 – 2010). Alberto is lawyer from Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú. He has a postgraduate degree in Environmental Impact Assessment and Policies on Water Resources issues at the Institute for Water Education – UNESCO-IHE, Holland (2015) and has completed studies in the Master of Territorial Planning and Environmental Management at the University of Barcelona, Spain (2020 – 2022). He has been a member of Asociación Civil Ius et Veritas.
