Valentina Cabrera is a lawyer specialized in Tax Law, with extensive experience in Tax, Corporate, and Energy areas. For 14 years, she was an Equity Partner and Director of the Firm and currently serves as a Consulting Partner. Her practice includes legal, corporate, and tax advisory services to national and multinational companies across various economic sectors; structuring, financing, and negotiation of contracts in the energy and infrastructure sectors; wealth structuring and restructuring, investment protection, and international arbitration.

Valentina’s unique combination of specialization and experience in Tax, Corporate, and Energy Law has allowed her to provide clients with comprehensive advice and a clear understanding of the efficiencies and costs inherent in structuring businesses in Venezuela. This expertise has enabled her to act as a negotiator and legal advisor in significant private and public contracts.

In the energy sector, she has advised on gas exploration projects under license regimes; negotiations of joint ventures for hydrocarbon production; negotiation and advisory on engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) contracts; and provided counsel to oil industry contractors (both offshore and onshore services), among others.
