Matthew is a versatile corporate attorney whose practice encompasses corporate finance, public and private mergers and acquisitions, and securities law matters. He advises clients across a broad spectrum of industries, including technology, life sciences, pharmaceuticals, health care, mining, cannabis, energy & sustainability, and financial services.

Matthew has extensive experience in public and private offerings of both equity and debt securities, mergers and acquisitions, and a variety of going public transactions. He also regularly negotiates and drafts a wide range of commercial agreements.

Prior to joining Mintz, Matthew was a senior associate at an international law firm, where he concentrated on corporate and securities law.

In addition to a JD, Matthew also holds a Certificate in International Business Law from Queen's University. While attending law school, Matthew served as a project lead and a student coordinator for the Queen’s Chapter of Pro Bono Students Canada.
