Luis Montes represents top-tier financial institutions, multilateral organizations, equity sponsors, private equity houses and corporate clients in financing transactions, banking regulatory and related matters, including acquisition financings, asset-based loans, out-of-court restructurings, and structured finance transactions, with a particular focus in project financings deals, in which he is experienced in a wide range of infrastructure and energy transactions.

Luis has significant experience in corporate, banking, and capital markets law and has participated in significant equity and debt offerings of Brazilian private issuers (both domestic and offshore), banking transactions and projects structuring and financing in Brazil, including construction and financing of power generation (with focus in renewable sources), transmission and distribution, water and sanitation, roads, ports, and airports.
