Position
Daniel Landim is a senior associate in the Employment & Benefits practice at Tauil & Chequer Advogados in association with Mayer Brown, based in the Rio de Janeiro office.
Career
Daniel has extensive experience in labor consultancy and strategic labor litigation, advising and representing national and foreign clients, including large companies in the sectors of energy, construction, technology, oil & gas, banking, capital markets, education, life sciences, pharmaceutical industry, among others.
He also has experience in union relations, developing collective bargaining strategies, drafting and reviewing collective bargaining agreements. He also provides advice on matters related to immigration, business restructuring and acts in due diligences to support corporate and financial market operations, assessing labor contingencies.
Daniel also represents clients in labor arbitrations, administrative and judicial proceedings, including investigative proceedings and defense of public civil actions, as well as working on the preparation, review and implementation of variable compensation, salary plans and executive compensation.

Expertise in labor consultancy and strategic litigation, with a multidisciplinary vision in collaboration with other practices; Preparation, review and implementation of variable compensation, salary plans and executive compensation; Guidance on matters related to the transfer of employees and termination or hiring of executives and key employees; Review of internal compliance, reporting and employee monitoring structures; Expertise in investigations, diversity and inclusion initiatives, policy review and human resources consultancy assistance; Participation in union negotiations, with the development of strategies and preparation and review of collective bargaining agreements; Advice on business restructuring, including work on due diligences to support corporate and financial market operations, assessing labor contingencies; Advice on matters related to immigration and global mobility; Representation of clients in administrative and judicial proceedings, including investigative proceedings and defense of public civil actions.Languages
