Jonathan Ritson-Candler advises leading financial institutions and market infrastructure providers on UK and cross-border financial regulatory issues.

Jonathan guides global investment banks, corporate finance houses, fund managers, insurers, broker-dealers, and market infrastructure and data services providers on a variety of legal and regulatory risk management issues. He also advises on private equity, IPO and M&A transactions in respect of regulated financial institutions, with a particular focus on asset management M&A. Jonathan has particular experience in matters involving:

• The UK Financial Conduct Authority’s Conduct of Business Rules
• European regulatory developments, such as MiFID II, MAR, and PRIIPs KID
• The EU Benchmark Regulation
