Joel Weinberger advises funds, public companies, private equity sponsors, and their portfolio companies on complex securitization, structured finance, secured lending, and receivables transactions across diverse asset classes.

Joel draws on extensive experience on a range of transactions to guide clients through secured structured lending, securitization, and structured credit investment transactions. Joel advises clients on matters involving:

• ABS backed by equipment loans, consumer loans, manufactured housing loans, and various esoteric assets
• Trade receivables platforms, factoring and forward flow arrangements, and multi-jurisdictional receivables sales
• Bankruptcy-remote SPV structuring, true sale, and substantive consolidation considerations
• Sponsor-driven, bankruptcy-adjacent financings, and liability management transactions

Joel also regularly helps clients navigate structured financings that deploy non-traditional collateral packages. He brings a commercial, solutions-oriented approach to multidisciplinary matters to deliver successful outcomes for sponsor-backed platforms.
