Tom Childs focuses on international arbitration and litigation. He represents clients in U.S. litigation involving the enforcement of arbitral awards and judgments, general commercial disputes, and cross-border discovery. He also represents clients in international commercial arbitration and investment treaty arbitration. His clients include companies from a wide variety of industries, including consumer products, finance, pharmaceutical, and oil and gas, as well as sovereign states.

Mr. Childs has extensive experience in litigation arising under the U.S. Federal Arbitration Act, the New York Convention on the Recognition and Enforcement of Foreign Arbitral Awards, the ICSID Convention, the Foreign Sovereign Immunities Act, Section 1782 (the cross-border discovery statute), and the Hague Convention on Service of Process. He also has represented clients in numerous high-stakes arbitrations seated around the world, under all major arbitration rules.
