Fernando Rodriguez-Cortina is a partner in the Houston office and a member of the firm's International Disputes Practice Group. As a dual-qualified attorney, with law degrees from civil and common law jurisdictions (Mexico and the U.S.), Fernando specializes in complex international disputes, offering a unique cross- border perspective and a deep regional and cultural understanding.

Mr. Rodriguez-Cortina’s practice centers on representing clients in high-stakes arbitrations and international disputes, with an emphasis in Latin America. His expertise spans commercial, civil, and international law issues, as well as bilateral investment treaties, and represents clients in commercial and investor-state arbitrations under the ICC, ICSID and UNCITRAL Arbitration Rules. He has represented major players across diverse industries, including oil and gas, mining, aerospace, retail, construction, finance, pharmaceutical, automotive, aviation and insurance.
